  3. In a small bowl mix bakig soda and water
  4. Make a well in dry ingredients and add butter and syrup mixture
  5. Add water mixture
  6. Fold till mixed well.
  7. Make desired portions and bake at 180 for 12-15 mins

They are just perfect - crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. This will be my go to recipe in future. So, what do ANZAC cookies (or biscuits) have to do with ANZAC Day? Technically there is no connection between the cookies and the day, except the name. We do not traditionally eat ANZAC.
