Steps to make Kheer Amulki (Tech-Boil/Steam):
  1. Take the rice and wash it properly 2-3 times.
  2. Take a kadai. Add ghee in it.
  3. As the ghee melts add rice into it.Stir at low flame for 10-15 seconds. Put off the flame.Keep the rice aside.
  4. Add milk in the vessel(bhagauni).Heat it on low flame.Bring it to a boil.
  5. In between chop the badaam finely. You can use other dry fruits as well.
  6. After the milk boils.Add the rice to it. Cook it on low flame stirring gently for 30 mins or so.
  7. When the rice is cooked I.e it can be easily pressed with the finger and the milk thickens add 1 tin of Amul mithai mate.
  8. Keep stirring well and cook for 5 more mins..
  9. Remove from gas.Garnish with almonds, kesar and elachi powder.
  10. Serve it hot. Or you can cool it the refrigerator. Both tastes delicious.
