  2. Prepare 1 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

  6. Prepare 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  7. Take 2 tbsp oil

  9. Make ready As required Whole spices (4 cloves, 3 green cardamoms, 2 bay leaves, 5 to 6 black pepper corns, 1 inch piece cinnamon)
  10. Prepare 1 1/2 cup fried onions
  11. Get 7 cashewnuts soaked in warm water
  12. Take 7 almonds soaked in warm water
  13. Get 4 tbsp curds
  14. Take 1 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  15. Make ready As needed Salt
  16. Make ready As required Coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions to make Chicken Korma:
  1. Clean and wash the chicken & pat dry.
  2. In a bowl mix curd, cumin powder coriander powder, kashmiri chilli powder mix it well & keep aside
  3. Grind the fried onions with curd,cashewnuts, almonds into a paste adding water if needed
  4. Heat a pan add oil & ghee. Add the whole spices fry for a few mins.
  5. Add the chicken pieces & fry till colour changes,add ginger garlic paste fry till the raw smell is gone
  6. Now add the mixture of curd, cumin powder, coriander powder & kashmiri chilli powder. Cook for 10 to 15 mins.
  7. Now add the fried onion, cashewnuts & almond paste. Add salt & garam masala powder. Fry the masala well. Then add little water for the gravy. Cook till the chicken is done. Garnish with coriander leaves.
