The ingredients needed to make Chicken Korma:
  1. Make ready 500 grams Chicken
  2. Get 3 Onions
  3. Prepare 2 spoons Ghee
  4. Make ready 2 spoons Oil
  5. Take 100 ml Curd
  6. Take 8 Almonds
  7. Prepare 8 Cashews
  8. Take 1 spoon Garam masala powder
  9. Take For marinating chicken
  10. Get 1 spoons Kashmiri chilli powder
  11. Prepare 1 spoon Chilli powder
  12. Make ready 1 spoon Salt
  13. Prepare 1 spoon Ginger garlic paste
  14. Make ready 3 spoons Curd
Instructions to make Chicken Korma:
  1. Take the chicken and marinate them with the ingredients mentioned under the section for marinating chicken. Set aside for atleast 1 hour. Make a paste of almond and cashews and set aside for later use.
  2. Take a pan and add 2 spoons ghee and 2 spoons oil and fry the onions till they are brown. Make a fine paste once it cools down
  3. In the remaining oil, add the marinated chicken pieces and cover and cook for 5 to 10 minutes. Then add 50 ml of beaten curd, mix and cook for another 10 minutes on medium low flame with lid
  4. Then add fried onion paste, mix and add 2 cuando water and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Then add 2 spoons coriander powder and adjust for salt and chilli powder and cook for 5 minutes
  6. Add garam masala powder, almond cashew paste and cook for few minutes and garnish the gravy with coriander leaves
  7. Serve hot with rice, roti, phulka, idly, dosa, chapathi, pulao etc
