Bring to a boil on high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Turn heat to low and let cook for a few minutes until the syrup thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice. Basbousa are small cakes that are covered with syrup.

Steps to make Basbousa:
  1. Preheat the oven on 200°c
  2. Mix all ingredients together and spread it in baking Tray
  3. Cut it into squares
  4. Put it in the oven and Reduce the temperature to 180°c
  5. Put the tray in the middle of the oven
  6. Let it for 15 minutes and get it out then Pour half of sorbet on it and Sprinkl grated coconut and put it in the oven again for 15 minutes in the up shelf
  7. After that get it out and Pour the another half of sorbet
  8. Let it Cool and enjoy
  9. For making sorbet : put sugar,water and lemon on Saucepan and let it poiling for 15 minutes then switch off the stove
  10. Let sorbet cool and use it
